Giving Games in the Classroom

In high schools and university ethics classes, a common practice now is for professors to discuss with their students the pros and cons of awarding a €200 donation to different aid organizations, over the course of one or more lessons, and then award the donation by majority vote. The goal of the exercise is to raise awareness of the importance of comparing all the options and to convey information about the impact that even individual donations can have, when made to one of the more effective aid agencies.
